MDF Cradled Panel
The surface of our MDF panels is very smooth and easy to paint on. It is also unmarred by knots that are commonly found in different types of wood.
Our MDF Cradled Panels come in depths of 1 ½” or 1”. If you prefer a depth greater than 1 1/2", please specify in the checkout notes, and we will customize it to your desired depth.
*For outdoor painting surfaces, we recommend applying primer and gesso prior to painting, making the MDF resilient to temperature fluctuations and moisture, which prevents it from expanding or contracting as natural wood does.
Framing Recommendation:
Floated Frames: Our Allison and Whitney frames give a timeless finished look, and can be used with all of our cradled panels.
