Alli Superior Alder 2

The Alli Superior Alder 2 has the same great features of the Alli Superior alder, but with a deeper outside frame dimension.  This wood species is hand picked from a selection of woods that does not include knots or prominent dark colored details in the grain.

Dimension Details: It is 2" deep and can hold panels up to 1 3/4" deep.  Please indicate in the notes at checkout the depth of your panel.  If your cradled panel is deeper than 1 3/4", consider choosing the Shari frame, which is similar to the Alli frame but supports deeper panels. 

Finish: Select whether you want your frame to have a lacquer clear coat finish, or if you'd like us to leave the natural wood without any finish.

We are happy to include hardware and wire for your specific frame. Just add the hardware to your cart and we will include it with your frame. 

Panel Recommendation:

Our favorite panel we recommend to artists is the ABS 1/8" panel.  The benefits of this material and its lightweight structure provides an excellent pairing with the Alli Frame.

Larger panels:  If your panel is larger than 18" and you are using the Alli Frame, we recommend using a cradled panel.
