Alli Knotty Alder 2 with Clear Finish

The Alli Knotty Alder 2 features the unique characteristics of the wood that includes knots and prominent dark colored details in the grain.  This frame includes a lacquer finish, which adds a protective coating and a subtle gloss to the wood.  A lacquer finish is added to this particular frame, which slightly darkens the color of the wood, but adds a layer of protection with a slightly glossy sheen.

Dimension Details: It is 2" deep and can hold panels up to 1 3/4" deep.  Please indicate in the notes at checkout the depth of your panel.  If your cradled panel is deeper than 1 3/4", consider choosing the Shari frame, which is similar to the Alli frame but supports deeper panels.

Panel Recommendation:

Our favorite panel we recommend to artists is the ABS 1/8" panel.  The benefits of this material and its lightweight structure provides an excellent pairing with the Alli Frame.

Larger panels:  If your panel is larger than 18" and you are using the Alli Frame, we recommend using a cradled panel.
