All of our panels are made with high quality standards, but our ABS panels really set us apart. They are available in three different thickness options: 1/16th" (ideal for studies with the same quality surface), 1/8" (most versatile size for both studies and professional paintings), 3/16" (ideal, rigid surface for larger pieces). ABS is quite versatile, allowing use for mediums such as acrylic, oils, and mixed media. This is the only panel that Beki paints on for her artwork.

These extremely archival panels are a hidden gem in the art industry and are hard to find. We have found that the artists who are lucky enough to have discovered ABS panels absolutely love them. They are resistant to moisture and humidity, which means they are less likely to warp or buckle when exposed to varying climates.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE THEM
One of the biggest advantages these panels offer is that they come ready to paint, as they don’t require gesso. They arrive with the perfect tooth for smooth, fine detailed paintings. They also display thick brushwork beautifully.
ABS panels are lightweight, making them easy to transport, ship and handle. This can be particularly advantageous for creating larger artworks without the weight and bulk of traditional stretched canvases, saving the artist storage space and shipping costs to the customer.

Along with the previously mentioned advantages, durability and longevity are huge benefits to using this type of material. ABS is well known for its strength and resistance to impact, making it less prone to damage compared to traditional canvas or paper. ABS panels are less susceptible to damage from pests, such as insects or rodents, compared to traditional canvas, which can be attractive to these creatures. This can be especially important for artists who store their work in less controlled environments.
